  18. I don't have a copy of the RKM [yet] and I'm a bit befuddled about
  19. two things that ought to be real simple:
  20.   1) ReadArgs().  Could someone send me the specs on what its
  21.      args are, how it works, what it returns, etc.  The example
  22.      in Utilities doesn't include quite enough explanatory
  23.      text to make clear [for me, at least] just what is happening.
  24.   2) Running an outboard process.  At the simplest level, I'd like
  25.      something like the "system()" call on unix: just a basic way
  26.      to run an external command.  I'm hoping it isn't going to
  27.      involve the mess surrounding "CreateProc" and such [since I
  28.      barely understand any of that, and in any event it seems
  29.      horribly complicated for something I"d hope was simple].

  56. Could anyone send me any AmigaE source showing how I can calculate the
  57. CRC16 of any string. e.g. if I wanted to calculate the CRC of the string
  58. 'IAMSTUCK!' how would I do it?
